Best wedding day organiser ever!!!

Where to begin…. My partner (now wife!) and I are a very unorganised (slightly chaotic) couple. I don’t know how Lynsey did it but she did- the day was so smooth from start to finish and that was ALL down to her. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes making sure everything was perfect. She was so on it- from having a pair of scissors in her bag ready to cut the tags on the bridesmaids dresses to printing everyone’s individual speeches out on card. She helped us set up before and pack away after, she organised all the vendors and she made sure everyone and everything was exactly where they needed to be on the day.

The biggest thing for me is she really took the time to get to know us as a couple as well as our friends and family. Not only was she brilliant professionally but she was so loved by everyone.

Honestly Lynsey was absolutely incredible and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her.

Biggest advice for your wedding- get yourself a Lynsey.

We decided to have the full package with Lynsey and we were not disappointed. After setting our first wedding date during covid lockdown (we had to also move it two further times after that too). We were obviously disappointed, anxious, frustrated and a whole bunch of other emotions at that time. Throughout that period, Lynsey was the calm head that helped remind us of what was important and that the perfect day will come.  Lynsey liaised with suppliers to check on their terms of moving things around and made the process as lot less stressful, she also joined us on open evenings with suppliers to make sure she knew our vision. Leading up to the big day, she was on hand finalising little details and bringing the vision together, which, with a large Tipi tent was a big task.

If there was anything not right, she had every little thing in her box of tricks to make things better.

Lynsey is such a warm and welcoming person, she was really able to make our families feel at ease and it didn’t feel like she was taking any special moments away from them, if anything, she would encourage them as well if they needed it. By the end of our wedding, she really felt like part of the family.

Lynsey’s organisation skills are second to none and everything went exactly as planned, well, in fact we found out the next day that there were several incidents including power loss to the bar that she was able to swiftly rectify and make safe, without any of the guests noticing! But Lynsey was able to make sure that none of the stress of incidents like this, got back to us and we were able to enjoy our day being oblivious.

The list of things she did is endless but adding finishing touches to the décor, moving flowers from the church to the venue, prompting our groomsmen when needed, liaising with suppliers, checking the toilets were working, literally holding our baby when she was upset during the service and calming me down when the adrenaline was kicking in. Thank you!

We were not sure at the start of our engagement whether we needed a Wedding Planner and Coordinator or not, we both like being in control of things and are both organised people but having Lynsey was the best thing we ever did. We would highly recommend her if you are getting married or holding an event in the future.

Red Deer Weddings and particularly Lynsey made our wedding an incredibly special event. We have had so many people remark on the fact that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We had a festival wedding on our farm, so it was a completely blank canvas and Lynsey had to start from scratch. There was also a last minute change of EVERYTHING we had planned due to the field we originally were going to hold the wedding being unsafe due to the ground drying up and cracking. Lynsey kept calm throughout and reorganised everything, saving us a huge amount of stress and still ensuring our day was perfect. What an incredibly wonderful job she did. She thought of every tiny detail and absolutely no request was too big or too silly. We are so grateful to Lynsey and her team, we literally never would have gotten this day over the line without her.
